OPENING NIGHT!

"Success" is what comes to mind for opening night of "Arsenic and Old Lace," for which I appeared on stage in the role of Officer Brophy. Imperfect success, but success nonetheless.I truly enjoyed playing Brophy; the audience, most importantly, likewise appeared satisfied.

Looking forward to eleven more appearances at the First Avenue Playhouse in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

Many thanks to my darling wife Jen (who took these pictures) and daughters Julia and Quinn for coming out in a show of support -- and for not throwing tomatoes or other objects at the cast!

Gracious thanks likewise to director Gina Shuster and all the cast members for their efforts.

Arsenic and Old Lace will continue to run every Friday and Saturday until April 28, plus Thursday performances April 12 & 26, and a Sunday matinee April 15. Curtain goes up at 8:30 evenings, 2:30 for Sunday Matinees. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the playhouse at 732-291-7552.
