Audience Roars, Night #2, "Arsenic and Old Lace"

Jonathan Brewster (played by Eric McDonough) getting a stern warning from Officer Brophy (Steve Peacock) that "You better watch what you're saying about your aunts! They happen to be friends of mine!" Jonathan then encourages Brophy to come to the cellar to see the graves of those who perished at the hands, well, from the elderberry wine, of the "sweet old ladies." (Photo by Jennifer Peacock)
Night #2 of "Arsenic and Old Lace" was amazing -- packed house (about 75 attendees) and lots of laughs.Upon exiting a couple of people said it was the best show they had ever seen at The First Avenue Playhouse
I never quite experienced anything like that. Let's hope for a repeat, stellar performance -- from the audience as well as the cast!
