Upon embarking upon my role as curator of The Sandstorm Gallery of Jersey Shore Creative Writers -- a local partner gallery of the NCTE-affiliated National Day on Writing -- I had hoped to hype the gallery to the furthest extent possible. However, back in September I landed a job as a special-education English teacher in Trenton; as a result, I have not had the time or energy to publicize the endeavor -- or its contributors -- to the extent I had envisioned.
Consequently, I am in the process of reinventing this site, now simply renamed Jersey Sandstorm. It is my hope and desire to use Jersey Sandstorm as a vehicle to promote my own creative works as well as the contributions of other area artists.
Come back soon.
